This collection evolved from founder Lorena Canals' recent journey to Africa, with its irregular contours, uneven borders, and earthy colour palette designed to represent the continent's incredible wildlife, nature and culture. Each piece in the collection is named in the Swahili language and takes inspiration from distinctive home decor, jewelry and beaded accessories made by the local artisans.

Care Instructions
This washable wool rug offers unbeatable convenience when it comes to managing mess and cleaning up after spills. Simply give it a shake for smaller messes, or for larger messes, throw the entire rug into a domestic washing machine on a gentle cycle. Always make sure to trim any pulled or loose threads.
When you first receive the rug, unpack the rug from its bag and lay flat. Allow the pile to condition at room temperature for 2 to 3 days, then brush or vacuum as normal to allow the pile to recover. For other cleaning needs, do not scrub or use chemicals as they could damage or fade the colours of this rug. We recommend regular vacuuming but avoiding exposure to direct sunlight. Make sure to use the included cotton bag for storing.
