This Marie Curie Trailblazer Plush Doll honors the scientific accomplishments of double Nobel Prize winning physicist and chemist, Marie Curie. Created in collaboration with Jennifer Long, this modern rag doll was inspired by the original artwork of artist Noa Snir and measures 17" in height and 7" in width, making it suitable for children 3 years and older. It is filled with 100% premium polyester fiber, and its face, arms, and legs are made of a poly cotton blend. Additionally, it features a removable skirt and shoes made of nylon-fabric/TC and Supertricot, respectively. When it comes to care, spot-cleaning and gentle hand-washing with a line dry in the shade is recommended. The doll is also Sedex certified and made in the Philippines. Marie Curie was an incredible figure within scientific history, being the first woman to win a Nobel Prize in Physics, and the first person to be honored twice. In addition to her pioneering research on radioactivity, she championed the development of X-rays and was the first female professor at the University of Paris. She is an incredible legacy that can continue to be shared through this Trailblazer Doll, perfect for budding and little scientists.
