This seat worked great! We were able to pack it in our suitcase while traveling on the plane. Once we arrived and got the rental car, two quick breaths into the port and it was ready to go. It worked great, kept my son where he was suppose to be, so he was safe. It was comfortable for him and he said he fit great in it.

I loved this. We were traveling to Florida and the idea of taking the huge booster seat was awful. This booster seat was convenient and easy to use! Definitely recommend!

Perfect for traveling! Easy to inflat and diflate, my daughter just turn 4 when we got it,bushes tall for her age and this is very easy for her to carry around when she needs to.

This is the perfect travel seat for my 70lb 7 year old. We bought it because it rolls small onto a tote bag for travel to be used in rental cars, and ride share. It is lightweight and works as designed.Upon a few uses the seat began to deflate and I called the service line. Within a few hours of my message the representative called me and offered a replacement be immediately sent.In addition to the product being great I can attest the service is just a high of quality.I would recommend anyone who has a backless booster sized child consider this as your second seat for riding carpool, grandparents or while traveling.

This is the perfect travel companion. I HATE lugging around huge car seats or heavy boosters simply for a single car ride from the airport to/from the resort. THIS is the perfect way to ensure my kiddo stays safe but also doesn't take up much space in my luggage. In fact, I can simply deflate it and stash it in the stroller bag! My daughter said it was comfortable - in fact, she fell asleep using it, and it did an excellent job of keeping the seatbelts where they need to be!

I have not used this car seat yet but the product came exactly as it was described. The seller sent additional information for installation and use including a video that was very helpful. Seems to be a fantastic compact way to carry along a car seat on a flight for use in rental cars and other transportation once you arrive.

With just 5 breaths, it was inflated and ready to use.Easy to install - just inflate and strap your child into the seat with the seat belt.Kids can easily buckle themselves in and out.Deflate quickly, making them easy to pack and store.Very lightweight and fit into any car.Both kids found them comfortable to sit on during long car rides.They are narrow, making it possible to seat someone between them.They are covered with a lightweight material that makes it easy to wipe clean.Comes with a strap to use on plane rides as well.Cons:Because they are inflatable, it is not recommended to leave them in a car during long periods of time. Especially during extreme heat or cold spells.There are no cup holders, it's just the seat. But the kids were able to reach the cup holders in the backseat so it wasn't an issue for us.We are very happy with the BubbleBums Booster Seats and highly recommend them to anyone traveling with small children.

We find it especially useful in fitting three across or putting next to a car seat where other boosters won’t fit/are too hard to buckle. It does not add as much height as a hard booster, which we take into account in how we use it. Great for travel, too.

Obviously, as a low booster, the shoulder strap buckle is needed when using for a shorter kiddo, and it is a little tricky for the youngest users to place correctly themselves (older users have no trouble), so mom helps.

The bubble bum has been a great additional to our large family’s arsenal of car seats and boosters! Replaced it when we lost our first one, and got another to boot, because so useful. Love it!

I have been a child passenger safety technician for 20+ years and work regularly in the field of car seat safety. I have had some parents asking me what the difference is between these two seats. I had used a BubbleBum before but had never tried the Hiccapop seat until now. These are my own opinions and I have not been influenced by either brand.****Safety should be the priority when deciding which seat to use for your child even for short journeys or when travelling.*** Therefore, I would recommend BubbleBum for these reasons.StabilityHiccapop : this seat is designed with one compartment to fill with air, like a beach ball. The material used is also similar to that of a beach ball or an inflatable toy. It has more height than the BubbleBum but this means that the air will be further displaced when pressure is applied on one end of the seat. In my opinion this would increase the chance of submarining which is exactly what booster seats are designed to prevent.BubbleBum: This seat is filled with a type of foam which makes for less movement of air and therefore less chance of submarining which is safer. The fabric on the inflatable part is much tougher than Hiccapop and would be much more difficult for a child to puncture. It would be nice if the BubbleBum was a little bigger to make it roomier for the child, however, not to the detriment of the safety of the child. The inner inflatable section is divided and the foam makes it feel much more stable with less wobble.Crash testingHiccapop : meet the USA crash tests which are frontal and rearBubbleBum : meets both Eu and USA crash testing which are frontal, rear AND rollover.Lap belt positioning side clips :Hiccapop: the side clips are made of metal but they are bendable. I was also able to easily pull the side clips off of the inflatable seat which was a major safety concern for me. I was also concerned that when/if the seat is punctured it would appear that the seat belt clips would allow more than 8inches of slack in the belt path which is dangerous for the child. Remember the purpose of the booster seat is to position the lap belt on the strongest parts of the body, not on the soft tummy area.BubbleBum : The side clips are attached by a belt which extends around the inflatable section so it was not possible to pull them off. While they are made of a type of plastic, it is really strong and I was unable to break them even with a hammer. When the seat is punctured it will still hold the lap belt low on the hips which will keep the child protected, as the height doesn’t change much even when punctured because of the foam inner.In my opinion, Bubblebum is by far the superior product.
