Piggy Paint makes safe, non-toxic, water-based nail polish formulated for children, along with removers, polish pens, and complementary products. Founder Melanie Hurley created the brand about 17 years ago when her daughters were 2 and 4, after watching conventional polish dissolve through a foam plate and being unable to find a safer option. A former teacher with no prior business experience, she developed a virtually odorless, water-based formula that is non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and free of parabens and alcohol.
