Busy Baby was mom-invented in 2019 by Beth, an Army veteran and mother from Minnesota, after she watched babies repeatedly drop utensils and toys at a restaurant. She improvised a placemat with attached tethers, and that idea grew into a patented system of food-grade silicone suction mats, tethers, and feeding accessories. The veteran-owned, family-run business is built around a simple goal: making life easier for parents at the high chair, at restaurants, and everywhere in between.
