Features include educational Catholic content (prayers, commandments, apostles), quiet velcro pieces, durable material, and detachable pages for sharing. Some noted pieces don't stick well initially but improve with use. One customer mentioned design could be more user-friendly with better storage.

5 Year Olds Love It

We have three grandchildren that are five years old and they LOVE this. Using a toothbrush does make it stick nicely. Thank you for putting the toothbrush trick in the instructions. The twins have played with this so much I ordered another one to have at their church. The original is at our church and I see many, many children using it at Mass. Also, with twins it is nice to have the option to unzip that pages so they can work on different pages.

Beautiful quiet book for church

I bought this for my infant grandson as a baptismal gift. His mother was so excited and we can’t wait until he is old enough to use it. It is very well made and beautiful.

Great product for kids 4-6 years

10/10. I’ve gotten pretty much every church activity and book that exists to keep my 4 kids (6, 5, 3, 19mos) occupied. My 5yo loves this. It took one mass to show him what you’re supposed to do and now he sits quietly and does the entire book. And it’s really cute—10 commandments, apostles, putting vestments on the priest, picking the liturgical season. This is great. My 3yo needs guidance so not as good but he also likes it. I think 4-6 is ideal age for this.

Perfect activity for toddlers

This thing has kept both our 5 year old and 3 year old busy during many masses. It comes apart so they can share a page. Very durable and compact. It makes zero noise as well.

Loved by our family

Loved by grandchildren. Purchased two for younger grandchildren ages 3 & 6. We have used these for several months during mass. After mass the older grandchildren like to quiz each other using information found in this quiet book.I put each child’s name or initials on the back of each piece and on the book.

Mom Approved Busy Book

My son absolutely love this book. Be advised that in the beginning, the pieces are not that secure. The more you use the book and play with it, the better the velcro sticks. I wish these were around when my older kids were little. It gets us through mass!

Cute

Easy to use by a child. The material they used to make it is sturdy and child-friendly. The pictures are inviting and catch the child's attention.

Great for the preschool-aged child

This book is a huge hit with both of my kids, aged 3 and 5. They sort the pieces and complete the activities. What is even better is that they can do this independently. I will be ordering more of these kinds of books.

Educational

This is a great tool for those children that are Catholic or Christian. Good quality felt book The pieces stick nicely so hard to lose pieces. Good fine motor skills with zippers and snaps. Great to learn Lord’s Prayer, 10 Commandments and more.

Adorable, well made, great resource for teaching Littles about prayer, Bible, worship

Adorable prayer busy book. I wish I could find more things like this. Our daughter is 6 and we are not catholic but we can still use this. It's well made. We homeschool and center education around God and this was a great fun way to add in something different. It's easy to use, durable, engaging. I do wish some of the pieces stayed on better but other than that I don't really have any complaints.

Beautiful!

This is a truly lovely little book. It is PERFECT to keep young hands busy while going to Mass. It seems to be well made but it is a little bit flimsy. It definitely is a major blessing though, so I don't want to discourage anyone from purchasing it. It helps them keep their hearts centered on Jesus during Mass! It is vibrantly colored as well.

colorful, well made, Christian Catholic teaching

I love Brother Francis products. I think they are always well made and definitely with a Catholic christian heart. This busy quiet book is a little confusing to me as to the target audience. Maybe the range is appropriate so siblings can participate too. The first page has two doors that look like open to a tabernacle but inside is a picture of a tabernacle. I'm not sure the point of opening those doors. I appreciate the priest but I would have liked to had more robe colors besides green for ordinary time. Then there is a candle with an elastic flame...ok. And a holy water font to stick your finger in... The next page has the 12 apostles who are fairly fun to match up, be aware of slightly smaller pieces though. (Again with my confusion - the large priest isn't moveable yet these 12 little guys are). The next page is a puzzle with 5 pieces, possibly a one time thing and then done - although makes a nice background for the apostles. Next you have the gifts of the holy spirit, so a matching activity with shapes of gifts. That's a good skill. An older kid might understand the words and meaning for all the gifts but probably not the child doing the matching. The fruits of the spirit are the same as the gifts - a good matching activity, small pieces and thin stems, possibly being introduced to the words if doing this book with another person which wouldn't necessarily be during Mass though. 10 commandments page -same as what was already said. I like the Lord's Prayer page and having to match the words to the prayer but again I feel that a busy book is usually younger children who aren't quite as interested in reading words and matching. The last page has several busy hand things to do - snaps, buckles, arrows, zips - all with a Catholic tie in. It also has a pocket to zip all the extra pieces into. As a positive, the pages do zip out so if several kids were needing to share this book, you can zip it apart. I think this purchase would depend on who was using this and for what purpose. Maybe set aside for a special trip when you will be flying with a youngster, or a special time with a grandparent.

Great Concept, But Needs Better Design 🤔📚

I was looking for a busy book and was excited to find this, but I found it a bit impractical.🔹 No storage for pieces – There's no way to store the pieces on the pages, and while there’s a pocket at the end, it doesn’t keep everything organized.🔹 Risk of losing pieces – If you remove pages, it increases the chance of pieces getting lost.🔹 Needs adult help – The pieces need to be pushed out and cut from their backing, so it’s best to have an adult do this first.🔹 For readers – This book is best for kids who can read independently since it includes prayers like The Our Father, 10 Commandments, Apostles' names, and Fruits of the Holy Spirit.I love the educational content and what it’s teaching, but the design could be more user-friendly. Hopefully, the felt sticks better with time!
