Sequin Vest With Bowtie - Kids

My 7 yr old son wore this for his "royal ball" themed day at school. The size medium fit him just about perfectly, and he's just getting into size 8 for most clothing. It is flashy, fun, and nobody else had anything similar. The bowtie is just a stretchy band that you put over your head to your neck, and there is no way to adjust it. It was a bit loose, but overall it was ok for what he was wearing it for. If he were to wear it again, I'd probably tighten it up a bit.

This set is sparktactular! We’re having a 75th birthday party and sparkle is the theme. Ordered this for my son to wear. Going to fit him perfectly! Not to mention he# going to look fantastic in it!

This sequin vest and bowtie combination is adorable. My son got a silver one first, and enjoyed wearing it so much that he begged for the gold one too. He ended up wearing it to kindergarten, and spilled blueberry juice all down the front and the back, and he was devastated because it appeared it was going to be stained blue. Thankfully, I caught it pretty quickly (within 30 minutes, maybe?) and was able to get it out about 95% with just water. After a good hand washing with soap, you really can't see any trace of the stain without knowing exactly where to look, and even then it looks more like a wrinkle than anything. I was impressed that it cleaned up that well. It fit true to size - he's 6, wears a 4t-5t, 39lbs, slender build, and wears a small - and it fits perfectly.

My son is very happy with this sequined vest and bow tie set. He is four years old and I ordered him an extra small, which turned out to be a perfect fit. It is also adjustable in the back for an even more tailored fit. The inside of the vest is silky and the sequins are staying in place. He and I are both pleased with the look and quality of this product.

This is a great dress-up vest and bow tie for a young guy or gal. I really liked the smoothness of the sequins and how they're attached so they won't flap around and catch on something. Good attention was made to the edges. I may order another of these in adult size for me. I expect to use this for plays, skits, musicals and other dress-up occasions. The bright gold sequined look is very fancy.

What a cool looking vest. It has more sparkle than we ever expected. My grandson loves wearing it for dress up. He tried on his crown with it. He just couldn't stop looking at it in the mirror. He has never had anything like this. We've had lots of fun with it. It is well made and I highly recommend it.

This Sequin Costume Vest looks really good and has nice clean craftsmanship! Its fit is great, the size I ordered fit my son perfectly! The sequins are good-quality and are sewn onto the top & bow in a very skilled manner, with no obvious stictching across the sequins, the thread is all well hidded & out of sight. To me, the top looks exactly like a sleeveless tuxedo shirt, and I really like that about this top!

The bow is held by an elastic band, which is very helpful for my 5yr-old-son and it dosnt sit againt his neck, a feature I really appreciate!

My 5yr-old-son for whom I ordered this sequin costume set for, really likes to wear both the top & the bow. He loves the way the sequins reflect lights onto nearby surfaces, he finds it to be very facinating & entertaining! 😄

I love this sequin studded vest and bowtie for a young man. It is stylish with 2 rhinestone-look front buttons and the faux front pocket detail. The workmanship is better than the average costuming pieces and the full lining is also an upgrade. I referred to the size chart online when when ordering the medium for a slender 8 year old and it fit perfectly once I adjusted the back buckle slightly. I would suggest considering the measurements given in the size chart when ordering a medium for a 10 year old as it could potentially be too tight depending upon their build. Wearing this vest and tie adds instant glam to an outfit and is a fun dazzler for a dress up occasion.

Runs a little bit short. This vest and bow tie set is such a fun “wow” piece! The sequin vest is lined with a soft, silky material, making it much more comfortable and not itchy. I love that it can be worn for special occasions or just for fun. We love this, because it’s perfect for dopamine dressing, especially for neurodivergent individuals!

the vest is not porportionate to the tie, the tie is for a very large neck and the vest is for a much smaller child than what I planned it for. The item itself is fantastic, and I would just say size up and be flexible with the timing to get it right.

This was a cute costume to add to my toddler's dress-up collection! He loved pretending to be a magician. The sequence isn't super rough, and the buttons make the vest easy to manage. Though the buttons feel flimsy, they haven't managed to fall off yet, and I'm confident they will be fine. The bow tie strap is a little long for a toddler's neck, so some adjustments had to be made. However, if you are worried about safety, this is a good thing as it decreases the chance of choking.

All in all, it is a decent piece to have.

I selected the large size, but when I switched colors, it automatically selected the medium, and once you select, there's no going back. (All my own fault). As far as the quality, it feels like something you'd find at family dollar, that ultra cheap quality. The bowtie however, feels pretty nice. That's the only thing we'll be using from this.

This bowtie and sequin vest costume set is nice. The vest fits true to size and is surprisingly well made for a costume piece — it held up nicely and looked great. The only downside is the bowtie: it has no way to adjust the size around the neck, which can make it tricky to wear comfortably for everyone. If they added an adjustable strap, this would be a five-star set.

If you are a person who likes shiny and glitzy costume-wear, THIS is your thing! Although it was designed for children, the largest size fits a size 6 women's body with ease.

The 4th of July will be upon us soon, as will Memorial Day and this is the PERFECT FUN accent for holiday wear. The vest is solidly made, closely sewn edges and hems. Sequins firmly attached. Sized and fits well.

The bowtie is meant to be worn on the neck, of course, but I will be using it as a charming accent either in my hair or on my purse to "tie the look together", lol. In fact, now that I think about it, this sequin bow tie would look great on my dogs collar when I am wearing the vest!

Its likely I will go back and purchase the gold sequin version as well. I could wear it under my jacket at the office and then go straight to a fancy cocktail party after work.

The only minor issue is for people with long hair- be careful the sequins dont brush up against your hair as they have a tendency to get caught up.

Depite accidently ordering this thinking it would fit my size, I worked out and fit well on my nephew who thought it was nifty. The quality of the sequin stiching was good and it fit him perfectly. The bow tie seemed a little loose around this neck, but it worked out well with a collar to hold it better. The buttons contained on the front are good quality and held well. I am also happy with the price point and cost of this razzling dazzling eye attracting garment. Now if only my nephew would get on stage haha.

Watch the sizing as the seller does offer various sizes. I ordered an X-Large, and it fit him well, though he is about 13 years old an a slim body type. I suspect he might out grow it in a year during his growth spurts.

I got this vest and tie for our grandkids' dress up box. They weren't a fan of the tie, but LOVED the vest! Our grandson wore the vest and pretended he was a singer. One of their friends wore it as a waitress. All in all, this vest was a hit. Since the kids didn't like the tie, we used it on our dog. It was great for walks, as the sunshine made the sequins sparkle like a reflector.

This is a very cute sequined vest. It appears to be well made, and I love the real buttons! It was a little small for my intended purpose, but I think that is more of Mammaw misjudging the size than the size not running right. I did knock off a star for the Bow though. It is on a long piece of elastic that hangs from the neck; it wouldn't fit anyone. They should have put a small piece of velcro behind the bow to take up the slack. Such a simple fix would've made a world of difference!

I'm a 64-year-old grandma and I think this is really charming. I got it for my grandson, but I had to model it for you. I put the bowtie in my hair instead of around my neck and it works great. The vest fit me, has nice real buttons and not some crappy Velcro closure. Fully lined with grey satin, like a real suit vest, this feels high quality, especially considering the reasonable price. Plenty of super shiny sequins give it that "Disco Baby" vibe, in case you need it for a party. My dog went hysterical when I walked through the living room to get my camera as the bright sunshine caught every sequin and turned the walls and ceiling into a laser light show for him. I wear size 4 in ladies. Over two thermal shirts and my Angry Bird Fleece PJs the fit was snug but not too tight. I'm sure he can get a couple years out of it since he'll be wearing it with a thinner shirt. He wears boys' size 14, age 12, with a slim build. I really like this vest and tie set and think it was worth every penny. Saved me the headache of sewing something, too.

This is a nice sparkly vest and bow tie. Easy to wear, and the sequins are well attached. I think only a few were loose right away. The fit is good, and it looks nice.
