I recently received the Pickler Triangle for my 15 month old granddaughter. She loves all of the activities that this unit provides. Her climbing skills and sliding skills have definitely improved. We have not yet used the stepping stones as she is a little young for them. As soon as she is completely stable on her feet I know she’ll enjoy them as much as the Triangle.

Such a fun quality gift! The set includes the step stones that are numbered on one side and each side of the other has a different shape or design that are all different colors. One piece has a tic tac toe board and comes with corresponding pieces and a tracing stylus for the different designs. It also comes with a bunch of tic tac toe score boards and a really nice canvas storage bag to keep everything together! The set also includes stick on grips so that you can use these as step stones in an obstacle course or movement activity with kids and not have to worry about them slipping out from underneath and falling.

My boys are 2 and 5 and this would make a great gift for toddlers. It lets them learn how to be coordinated by jumping or stepping on the wooden circles. The pieces are very sturdy and smooth. On one side there’s numbers and another are shaped for them to trace. I thought that the divots in the wooden pieces would bother them since it’s not an entirely flat surface, but it didn’t. Make sure you don’t place it on hard surfaces like wood or tile or else it could slide. Carpet is definitely better. It’s a simple yet versatile gift.

I bought these as a gift for my 2 and 4 year old and inspected them before wrapping them up. This is a great wooden set of stepping stones for littles. The edges are smooth, the numbers are nicely blended in, and the colorful tracing designs on the back will help with fine motor skills. A tracing pencil and tic tac toe pieces are an added bonus. Looking forward to seeing these used for number practice and floor is lava!

With the proliferation of plastic, plastic, plastic, it is always a wonderful find to discover a well-crafted wooden toy set. This is the kind of set that will stand up to lots and lots of knocking about by little kids and endure. I worked in pre-schools for many years and the wooden toys that were well-made (blocks, balance beams, wooden play cars and trains) always developed a beautiful sheen from the hands and play hours of many children over the years. There is something beautiful and essential in wooden toys for exactly this feature.

We got these for the kids to play with when they visit, and they enjoyed them right away. They immediately engaged in an imaginative stepping stone game, and they also rolled them along the floor and turned them into "giant coins" for a pretend game of buying/selling. The wooden discs are polished smooth for safe handling by the little ones, and they are just interesting enough with colors, shapes, etc. on the surfaces, without suggesting too much to the child, meaning: it's all open to the KIDS' imaginations.

I like that. So many toys are plastic, overdone, electronic, etc.

THESE are so natural that they remind me that this nation was built by generations of children who grew up with simple cornhusk dolls and sticks and hoops and other simple objects. The heart of childhood is that our babies arrive with imaginations and the ability to appreciate the wonders of their environment without really needing tons of "things."

These will become family heirlooms, perhaps, for many people getting them for their very young children. They can be passed along to others as the kids grow up. This would be an excellent gift for young ones and also at baby showers as a toy to put away for a few years later when the baby becomes an older child.

The stones are high quality and sturdy material. Very well-made. My boys love to play the floor is lava and these make it both fun and educational.

These are a huge hit for my preschooler and her friends! They love taking these outside to play. It gets them off the screen and up moving around and they don’t even realize it!

These are a great toy for kids just learning coordination or for older kids who are obsessed with “the floor is lava” type games. They are quite heavy and come in a heavy duty box that we will keep for storage. I love that it’s not more plastic junk filling up my house and that we can eventually use them to practice counting, colors, and shapes with my little one.

These wooden stepping stones are solid, sturdy, and if anything a bit heavy for what I expect now a days. That’s not to say they are overly heavy just seem to be made of a solid material which should stand up to repeated play and even use as the base for the balance beams that are an add on for this item. The numbers and other designs are painted onto the stones and while not all of them are perfectly painted that adds to the charm form me.

The included carrying case, cardboard packaging inserts turned game boards, and the tic tac toe pieces all add to the charm and usefulness of this item. I can’t wait for spring when we will have far more ability to try these outdoors in various environments and with more of the kids friends to play.

If I had to find a downside to these it would be that I now need to go look for the balance beam parts that go with this set for future use.

The box is heavy, which means these are quality wood materials and you’re getting what you pay for— they should last a long time. The box it arrives in is a little bland— it’s not going to make a preschooler leap for joy if they open it on Christmas morning. The box could be good for storage but then again they include a storage bag so the box isn’t needed for that. Similarly, the numbered side of these stepping stones is written in a nondescript beige. Kids like bright colors— the numbers look less than exciting. The side with the shapes and the colors are well done. I like that the tic tac toe board comes with wooden x and o pieces. Overall, I think it’s a quality set but it loses points for giftability and in this price range they could have done a better job with the colors and possibly made the stones a little larger.

This is one those things that at first might not look like much to adult eyes until you hand it over to the little ones and with their lenses a world of possibilities unfold, no directions necessary!! I have been loving watching their imaginations go wild with this set! I have a lot of gratitude for the thoughtfulness that went into this ingenious product! The wood feels extremely high quality and connecting pieces feel sturdy as well and connect easily.I also appreciate the storage bag for when the time eventually comes that these aren't out on display. This set definitely encourages creativity and helps with balance and hand eye coordination as well! Happily pleased!

These stones are great for practicing coordination and balance. I especially love the double-sided design; it's a perfect activity for my toddler that he can do both inside and outside. The stones also have numbers on them, so jumping on the numbers teaches basic math skills while hopping on the colored stones teaches basic colors. I am really pleased with this purchase and I would recommend them to anyone!

I am a preschool teacher and occasionally buy these stepping stones for the classroom. They are perfect for my 4 year olds to learn their numbers, letters, shapes, and even basic math. I love that they are double-sided with a different design on each side so that we can use them year-round and teach about different topics. I use them in the garden as well with my older kids to teach about plants and animals.
