Return Options
We offer two return options. Please read carefully before choosing:
1. Store Credit (Best Option)
- You will receive a free return shipping label (shoes/clothing only)
- No restocking fees
- Store credit can be combined with any discount code on a future purchase. It never expires.
2. Refund to Original Payment Method

Restocking Fees
Restocking fees apply when you return an item priced >.$100 and you request a refund to your original payment method instead of store credit. Description
- For generations, trees have silently witnessed history's most pivotal moments.
- In the sweep of wind over grass, near the pulse of rivers, we stand, monuments of bark and age-curled green.
- Above, an avalanche of stars; below, the ocean of earth.
- Within, the uncounted lives birthed, bloomed, and plucked from the gardens we tend.
- We survive. We remember. We witness.
- In evocative verse and stunning artwork, discover the story of the world's most enduring witnesses: the trees.
- From the Flower of Kent apple tree still standing in Sir Isaac Newton's yard, to the English oak given to Jesse Owens after facing down Hitler at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
- From the California redwood saved from destruction by July Butterfly Hill, to the Callery pear tree still miraculously alive after the World Trade Towers fell.
- It is a moving tribute to the world's most famous trees, many of which still need humanity's protection.
- Be moved, be inspired, be amazed by the quiet, reverberating voices of nature's sentinels: the witness trees.

All of the books arrived packaged with care, no damaged edges unlike many other books I have ordered online from other companies. The quality of these books is absolutely outstanding! The covers and papers are of higher quality, books that I want to add to my home library and will be cherished by my family and generations to come. There was a mixup with one of the books I ordered and they were quick to respond and remedied the issue quickly. I definitely recommend Bushel and a Peck, and love the...

Reading THE WITNESS TREES gave me goosebumps. The words, by Ryan G. Van Cleave, are spare and lyrical and powerful, and the illustrations by Đốm Đốm portray both the sweep of history and the sense of majesty these trees impart. The pattern of each spread typically gives a glorious full-page illustration of the featured tree, with a facing white page with spot art, the text, and a sidebar providing more historical details. That combination of white space with sparse poetic text gives this book an...

As an adult and lover of trees, I love the idea of witness trees. I have not yet shared Ryan Van Cleave's and Dom Dom's THE WITNESS TREES with children, and I'll be eager to see how they respond. The poetic text is lovely and engaging, but it seems beyond young kids. (And I am not a person who underestimates children's ability). Hopefully, the concept will enrapture them. The book can and should be shared with middle-grade and high school students, who will understand the nuance of both text and...
