Tumbling Mat For Kids

I ordered this tumbling mat for my 8year old daughter to use in the house as she enjoys doing cartwheels and handstands and flips and tricks. Having this mat doesn't make me worry so much if she falls as it is nicely cushioned yet firm. I like the bright colors as well. There are 2 handles on one side for easy carrying when it folds up. It can easily be a cushioned seat for the floor as well when folded up. There are other additional mats in the collection that I'm considering ordering as well. Very nice tumbling mat.

My 2 year old granddaughter absolutely loves this! When it's folded up, she uses it like a step to help get up on the couch. She also likes to stand it on end, slightly opened up and use it as a little "house" or reading nook. It's very sturdy and looks like it will last a long time and holds up to dogs occasionally walking on it, too.

Nice quality and pretty colors. However, as one reviewer mentioned, the mats I received had a bit of a fishy odor. If you are not sensitive to smells you may not notice it.

I surprise my granddaughter by buying this for her since she’s taking gymnastics and is only five years old she absolutely loves it. She builds a fort with it too.

I love this mat it is perfect for small kids! I love the variety of colors and folds up nicely for when not in use. It is a perfect thickness for tumbled and rolling around on. It is also a great size it's not too big to roll out in the living room or other spaces in the house but big enough for the kids to bounce around on. It also makes a great sleep pad for slumber parties!

I got this as a folding exercise mat for my adult self. It’s so nice! The cover is different from the kind I remember as a kid- the plastic is smoother. Beside that, it’s like a small version of the ones from school gym. Great for stretching, and my bare feet stick to it just perfectly enough that I could easily tumble if I wanted, or switch stretching exercises if I need to. It folds up nicely and can be stored when not in use, but I tend to leave it unfolded in my office for quick exercise breaks throughout the day, and it’s been great for that! I highly recommend this little folding tumbling mat!

It is the first thing our grandson plays with when he gets to our house. He jumps and rolls on it. Also really likes it when we convert it to a tunnel.

We don't use this as a tumbling mat, but an exercise mat. It folds extremely easily and is bright and colorful. It stays still and doesn't slide around. It has two carrying handles. It is thick and squishy so it is very comfortable to stand on. I wouldn't use it to jog around on because it is significantly thicker than a yoga mat. Still, I like this mat.

I grabbed this mat for US, not the grandkids. Don't laugh! It's great! It is THICK and solid, well constructed and the seams are well made, too. LOVE this for my floor workouts, and my wife steals it for her walking workouts from youtube. It makes the floor tolerable on our sensitive areas like knees, heels, and hips.

If we find this a wonderful piece for our older bodies I can imagine it will be fantastic for children, too. A great tumbling mat for indoors when the weather gets messy and cold. Will help families really get the most out of keeping kids active in the winter months. We MIGHT let the grandkids borrow it their next visit!

Well, the listing says for toddlers and kids, but I would say that the hexagon mat is for toddlers and not kids. It will not hold up to our nine-year-old who is pretty light for her age it collapses under her weight. This hexagon mat would be best probably for, a three or four-year-old child.

This is a great mat. It's wide enough and long enough for my 6yr old to do kart wheels on. My kids love the colors. It has a lot more folding sections than some of our other gym mats which makes it a little easier to store.

This mat works very well. It is durable. I have used it with my elementary students, and it withstood 300+ students. The rainbow is also interesting to the students. You can also use the colors to scaffold trick.

Edit: On the corners of the mat, the fabric is pulling off. My 300+ students have used it multiple times on an outdoor court. The material is coming off due to the texture of the court - rigidity. If used in an inside area or on grass, it will last. Overall the integrity of the mat is great, just use it in an appropriate location.

My 9 year old takes gymnastics classes and uses this at home almost daily to practice simple things like cartwheels, hand stands, flips, etc. I love that it's so easy to fold up and store in a corner or behind a couch and it expands big enough for some quality gymnastics practice.

It’s smaller than I anticipated but works well as part of an obstacle course. I wish there was more/better Velcro for it to stay down in a carpet but overall I love having this to use.
