About Klean Kanteen

Klean Kanteen traces back to inventor Robert Seals, who prototyped the first reusable stainless steel water bottle in the US with materials from his local hardware store and founded the company in Chico, California in 2004 — offering a safer, more sustainable alternative to single-use plastic, free of aluminum and BPA liners. Today the range spans bottles, tumblers, kid and toddler cups, insulated food jars and all the caps and straws to match, and the company walks its talk: Climate Neutral Certified since 2020, with more than $4.4 million donated to environmental non-profits through 1% for the Planet since 2008.

Customers praised these stainless steel cups as "sturdy," "durable," and perfect for replacing plastic. The 10oz size is ideal for toddlers and kids, with vibrant colors and stackable design. Customers love that they're dishwasher-safe and non-toxic. However, some noted coating issues with painted versions peeling in dishwashers, and cups get very cold to hold with iced drinks.

Love these cups! Sturdy and easily stackable! Perfect size for my littles

Super cute and convincing

I love these cups, the colors are beautiful. I wish there were lids as for insulated coffee cups, that would be so amazing

I brought these for our grandchildren as a safe product to drink their beverages from. No plastic and durable. Would recommend.

Excellent Cup for Toddlers

These cups are a go to for our kid at home. The lid and straw make it easy to use and reduce the risk of large clean ups (they are not completely spill proof). It's been a nice transition that makes it easier for us to pack on the go. Especially because now he knows how to use a regular cup with a lid and straw when out and about.

Great Choice

These cups are working out well. Have been using them with my two year old as she learns to master an open cup.

No More Plastic

Love these stainless steel kids cups. We recently replaced all the plastic flatware/kitchen items. Will be ordering again.

Great cups but coating peels

Love these cups - they're lifesavers in an accident-prone family! But if I put them through the dishwasher, even on the top rack, the coating has begun to bubble and chip on the bottom of the cups.

paint bubbles and chips

Love the cups themselves but I would not purchase the painted ones again. They are supposed to be dishwasher safe and we have followed all the care/use instructions but the powder coat has started to bubble around the rim and paint is chipping off :(

Great quality, cute colors!

We love these cups for our kids. They’re a great size (small enough to be manageable for a toddler but big enough for older kids too), clearly great quality, and so glad to replace all kid plastic cups with stainless steel!

Perfect for kids

The size and material of this cup is perfect for small hands and kids learning to sip from an open cup. The lid and straw options make it even better. Easy to clean and have held up for years.

Klean Kanteen multicolored cups replace Sippy cups for our 4 grandchildren.

We love the new cups and the wonderful colors and spent some to our family in New Jersey. My son and his wife have 4 children and I think they will love the colors and textures of the new cups now that they have graduated from 'sippy' cups to big people cups!

Great! Just what we needed for our kids. Love that there are different colors when having friends over too.

Durable and fun

I love these cups. The kids love them and since they are so durable, I'm not worried about leaving them in a place where they can grab them and get their own cup of water. They are a hit with their friends when they come over too. Its great that they are dishwasher safe too.
