About Klean Kanteen
Klean Kanteen traces back to inventor Robert Seals, who prototyped the first reusable stainless steel water bottle in the US with materials from his local hardware store and founded the company in Chico, California in 2004 — offering a safer, more sustainable alternative to single-use plastic, free of aluminum and BPA liners. Today the range spans bottles, tumblers, kid and toddler cups, insulated food jars and all the caps and straws to match, and the company walks its talk: Climate Neutral Certified since 2020, with more than $4.4 million donated to environmental non-profits through 1% for the Planet since 2008.

Worth the upgrade

Bought to replace a straw-style cap - love that this is not plastic! It's easy to clean, just the right weight and super sturdy. My son stole this cap and water bottle it to replace his bulky Stanley. Highly recommend!

Non-Black plastic caps fit well

Really like that it is metal so I don't have to worry about black plastics in my water! Will purchase others to cap the other Kleen Kanteen bottles I have.

Another Klassic Kap from the Klean Kanteen crew

Off all the classic caps, this one is my favorite. Love the look of the wood with stainless, love the loop size, and love that it's all stainless at the part that touches the liquid. The loop works great with all carabiner's that I've tried from small to big.

It shouldn't go into the dishwasher, but it is so easy to clean that this doesn't bother me.

Another winner. .

Bottle caps

This was what we were looking for. We needed to be free of plastics and all things microplastic! We did our research and not only are the bottles easy for kids to hold the caps are easy to unscrew! Would buy again!

No plastic!!

You should offer this instead of plastic for ALL bottles, as an alternative and at no extra cost - for the growing number of people who avoid plastic, particularly black. I resent buying a premium product and then paying so much for a replacement cap to make it right.

A perfect replacement top good to have one on hand because these things don’t last forever

What can I say? This is the stainless steel top that goes on my stainless water bottle, but it also goes on the one I bought my wife, which has a Seascape on it. So now we have an extra. They’re great, but you do have to take care of them. In fact, the instructions say you should put a little oil on them for wood. I use the same one that I put on hand to my fancy electric kettle. It’s a good looking top, but be careful because you have to take care of that bamboo or it will start to chip.

Great fit and design

Fits my small kanteen just great, and the look and functionality are on point. I lost the original green plastic cap in a neighborhood pool party so really appreciate that you offer these!

Simple, fun lid

Just a fun, little bamboo accented steel lid. Works well enough and adds a bit more personality than the sports lid, imo. Has held up well over the 3 years that we've owned it, no splitting or peeling or anything so far. Just hand wash the lid and it should last a while!

Great cap to avoid plastic

I really like using this cap as it removes all the plastic elements from the water bottle to reduce any chance of micro-plastics. The metal cap is also very nice looking and the bamboo top has a very nice natural look to it.
