I like the Classic Steel Loop Cap.

The stainless steel finish feels durable and premium, the loop sits comfortably and securely and the clasp is simple to use while staying snug during daily activity. It’s stylish enough for dressier outfits but understated for everyday wear.

A fantastic lid!

LOVE this bottle lid! I highly recommend it. Fits great, well made, works as it should. I appreciate that it is plastic and chemical free, and I can swap it out for the bamboo option - at a very affordable price. I will be buying more as spares!

Good Cap, the Carry Handle is Fragile Though

The caps are functional, they seal just fine, however they can be a little noisy when screwing them back onto the bottle. The carry handle on the cap is spot welded and can support the weight of a filled bottle, but are a little delicate and can break free (it did on one of mine).

They're serviceable and functional, just a little fragile. If they're going to see light use, these should serve you well. If you're looking for something a little more robust, maybe look into purchasing the bamboo, the carry looks to be a little more durable.

Light, looks great, holds a lot more water than other bottles of same size. Does smell like iron the first two uses, but after no more if you keep had washing.

This is a very sleek, low profile cap that looks great on the bottle. You would need to add some sort of string to comfortably carry the bottle as the opening on the cap is only big enough for a single finger, but it is a nice cap.

20+ years and going strong

My 20 year old classic stainless steel bottle has been my daily water bottle for all this time, but the lid had finally taken too many tumbles (after 20 years!) and was cracked. I bought this stainless lid to replace it. It’s fabulous and makes my old bottle look refreshed and new again. Here’s to a lifetime with this new lid. Smaller stack height

I bought this to fit bottles in a smaller bike frame but the cap still sticks out more than I was hoping it would. It does make the bottles slightly shorter than with other caps

Poor hygiene

Best lid for classic bottles

Best lid for classic bottles ever. I’ve owned multiple plastic loop caps, sippy caps and sport caps for classic bottles. This is the only one that lasts many years of use and it is simple and beautiful. I only wish that I can buy more. Please continue to make this cap!

Classic Steel Cap Is A Classic

In an effort to reduce plastic, I selected this cap. I have used my two canteens for about twenty years and they soldier on.
The steel cap (already owned one, now own two) gets a daily workout without any issues.
I strongly recommend them! Nice job folks.

well built, happy to have no-plastic cap

This is a lightweight but solidly built cap. The handle is a welded strip of steel with slightly rounded edges, it's not quite as easy to get your finger under it and not quite as comfortable as the loop with the plastic caps, but it's fine. Happy to have a no-plastic cap for cold beverages. Not for hot beverages - the cap would get as hot as the beverage!

Stainless Steel cap
