Hi there,
I want to start by saying I love the cards. The printing is fantastic, giving depth to all the colours and black tones so you can enjoy Ralf's Work, and if you are a fan of Ralf Steadman like I am, the cards are an absolute treat.
However, the cards function of being playing cards sadly have a limit. The illustrations reach every edge of the cards. One can tell from the side that there is a larger illustration on the face of the playing card (king, queen, jack). Sadly it makes it hard to play most card games without feeling like you are cheating.
I also don't understand why there is an inconsistency with some of the illustrations. For example, the queen of spades has a harsh edge on the top and bottom of the illustration. However, the majority of the illustration's go right to the very edge of the bleed on all sides.
Although, if you're not planning on using these cards to play games with, then you can disregard my critique.

Saw these cards and had to get them just based on the artwork alone. They feel great and would be fun to work with if I wasn't so impressed with the graphics. They joined my display of my favorite cards. I love this style of art in general and just looking at them is worth the buy. I still pull them out every so often for some cardistry but that's about it. Definitely worth the money.

These cards are great! I bought them for myself as well as a few others for my family. We are not big into card playing but we really enjoyed these cards. The art is amazing and they are definitely worth the price. My friends and I play cards sometimes and they were really impressed by these cards. 5/5 stars, these bad boys are pretty awesome.
