Leche Premier turns up to 75 oz of your own frozen breast milk into shelf-stable powder. Your powder comes back in individual heat-sealed sachets packed in a cylinder tin. The sachets are handy for travel, the diaper bag, and feedings on the go.

What you get back

How it works

1. Order: It's My Leche mails you a shipping kit (insulated pharmaceutical-grade cooler, XL custom storage bag, 3 ice bricks, packing tape, return box, prepaid overnight FedEx label, and 25 breast milk storage bags as a bonus).
2. Pack and ship your frozen milk: Put your frozen milk in the storage bag, then seal and sign the bag. Ship it Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday only, so it arrives during the work week. Hand the box to FedEx directly; don't leave it outside for pickup.
3. Testing and freeze-drying: Every batch is barcoded and tracked, tested for bacteria, freeze-dried in its own chamber (never mixed with other parents' milk), and packed in a sterile environment.
4. Your powder comes back to you: The usual turnaround is about 3 weeks from when your kit arrives at their facility.

Before you send your milk

• Each shipment holds up to 75 oz, as long as it fits in the custom Leche storage bag.
• Frozen milk only. Liquid (unfrozen) milk is not accepted.
• Milk must be in disposable breast milk storage bags made for breast milk. Glass containers, Ziploc-style bags and other containers can't be processed.
• Don't overfill bags, because overfilled bags can leak.

How to prepare

Add 4 oz of purified or distilled water to a bottle. Tear open 1 sachet, pour the powder in, cap the bottle and shake until it dissolves. You can adjust between 2 and 6 oz of water based on your pediatrician's advice.

Important feeding notes

• Leche is meant to be used along with your baby's feeding plan, not as the only source of nutrition. Talk with your pediatrician about how to use it.
• Use purified or distilled water.
