I just got this it looks good, I hope this one does the trick because I have bought the 2 other kinds of caps for my bottle and both broke

Cap works but i noticed it leaks out even when closed. Other thing is that it is hard to clean

Wanted to love this cap , but it has too small of an outlet for my warm tea and leaks. I followed all directions on how to disassemble , clean and reassemble, but no matter how hard I tried , would always leak.

We much prefer this to the standard lid. It is easier to open and close, and works better for sipping. It is also easier to get off of the bottle, as the shape of the cap provides grip points other than the metal bar, which has broken off of many of the standard lids. For that reason alone we like these, as the standard lids become very difficult to get off once the metal bar slips out.

This has been a great cap. It's strong but also easy to open and the water flow is great. It's much better than having the straws and sip portions which are hard to clean.

This cap is the best designed cap I've ever used.
Kudos to your design team.
Now all you have to do is not screw it up by over designing it.
The only improvement I would make on this cap would be to create a slightly longer stainless steel loop or a bend in the loop so a user can put a paracord lanyard for ease of carrying or lashing it to an upright position while traveling. Putting a lanyard on my standard top bottle was game changer with regards to removing my fingers from the exposed feeling of potentially being broken in the hard plastic loop if knocked into in the wrong way.

No water has leaked when drinking from the cap or when it's on the bottle, moving around in my bag. I'm so glad I got this cap to go with my bottle!

This lid worked fine for the first year and a bit, and then started mysteriously leaking through the multipart twist mechanism. There's nothing visibly wrong with it and it's all very clean and we'll maintained, but it just keeps leaking. Even when I tighten it down so much it can hardly be turned to open. I don't particularly want to buy a new lid as my other KK bottle (with a different exterior screw lid) also leaks, so I just don't trust KK anymore.

I do love the size options for TKWide bottles, however.

Great Travel friendly cap that I can rely on not to leak. I can throw coffee or tea in my bag and not worry about spills. When Im finished, I can rinse the bottle out and swap in my straw cap for water or cold beverages.

This cap was great for hot coffee, hot chocolate, and hot tea. I like that I can exchange this out to make my bottle work for dual purposes.

I like the easy cleaning.
I don’t like how turning from closed to open can loosen the cap from container and leak coffee from below where mouth is sealed to drink coffee without me knowing. It’s like I need to wear a bib to keep blouse from being soiled!

I don’t like this cap. I make coffee around 9am and by 11 my coffee is already cold. Previously I was using a Starbucks tumbler and my coffee would still be hot even until 3pm. Very disappointed. I thought it’s a defect and took it to the shop. But they said there is no defect. I’m sure the tumbler itself is fine. The heat leaks from the cap. I spent more money to support a good quality, conscious brand. But disappointed with my purchase. I know there are other caps. But you need to unscrew them every time you want to pour coffee. Other brands like Starbucks, you press a button and the cap opens and you pour and done.

The difficulty of the cap twist is very hard for children. Klean Kanteen was unwilling to make it right.

My toddler keeps chewing the straw for the cap his bottle came with. This is a nice replacement.

It doesn't leak and it does come apart for cleaning.
But the flow rate is way too slow. It makes it frustrating to drink cold drinks from, but also frustrating to drink hot coffee because you can't sip a normal amount. It kinda helps if you only barely thread the pieces together after cleaning, but still.
And it takes two hands to open it for a drink, but for all that, the part you put your mouth on is still in contact with who knows what in your bag.
The Zojirushi cap is still an annoyingly slow flow rate, but at least you can open and close it with one hand and it keeps the part where your mouth goes covered.

We like this cap and the wide bottles. We are especially pleased with the TKWide Twist Cap with straw. The cap is easy to turn, the nozzle to drink from is pliable so it won’t damage your teeth.

I loved that this lid came apart to clean, but I was constantly throwing my water bottle in my bag thinking it was closed when it was not. Something about the open versus closed positions did not make sense to my brain and I was constantly throwing the water bottle in my bag when it was still in the open position. After a couple of years of leaks (again, the defect was with my brain, not the lid) I am finally ordering a different style.

Excellent coffee lid that has adjustable flow due to the 5 piece assembly lid design. The final nut on the lid can be tightened more for less flow. Very sturdy and easy to clean in dishwasher.

I truly search every six months or so to see if Kleen Kanteen has come to its senses and brought back the two part cafe lid. I don’t know anyone who has time to wash or manage a five part lid solo, let alone in a family of kk users. PLEASE offer the old lid again!

It performs well: portion control is well engineered, and it’s nice not to remove a cap to drink. It’s all plastic though and takes a long time to dry after cleaning.

Im not a fan of lids with straws, so this was a great replacement. The handle is very comfortable.

I wrote a previous review about the cap not being able to be cleaned - but I was wrong!! Ignore that review! Check out the video one this site that explains how to take it apart. After I did took it apart and put it back together again it was easy.

It's a marvelous product and I highly recommend it. I wish I could delete my previous comment.
