Gifted my medium metal straw to my sister so needed to replace mine, but I had to replace both the wide mouth lid and straw.
Would like to be able to purchase a set of medium and long metal straw only. (No lid required)

Excellent product. Fits all sizes of wide mouth bottle and the silicone tips make the ones you dont use for your bottle useful for regular cups

This top is the best for kids, including and especially young toddlers. Even bottles made for toddlers that include the straws safe closure require adult help. My toddler does not need help with this and loves it! Thanks for selling it separately so we don’t have to buy a whole other bottle

The extra cap and straw are useful, it just doesnt make sense to add two more straws. I wish there was a way to just buy an extra cap and add-on straw without having to buy ones im not gonna use.

I appreciate this because I am committed to using Klean Kanteen and not chasing trends. The price point is a tad high for a new lid and I had to wait till it was on sale. It isn’t the easiest to clean down inside. Especially after a 10yo boy.

I love my Klean Kanteen bottle and love being able to use a straw to drink my water, but this TKWide twist cap with straw is NOT leak proof. When my bottle falls onto its side or in my bag, water gets everywhere. It spilled all over the seat of my car.

Bought extras to use in bottles that didn't have them. The best and most easy to use sports cap I've found. I'd love for my water not to touch plastic at all, but this cap has the least plastic in a bottle I have found. Easy to take apart and clean. I did find it leaked on the plane, so I will use a twist cap when travelling next time. I appreciate that it came with a cleaning brush, and all 3 sizes of straws. One fit the bottle I needed it for, and the rest make handy plastic-free straws in the house. Smart thinking Klean Kanteen!

I have to agree with other reviews. Leaks and the TK design is terrible the lids are near impossible to get off. I have one bottle that I can no longer get the lid off of and another that gets stuck need pliers to open. Does still open however. Really disappointing keeps everything cold but not much use it the lid design does not allow the lid to come off.

The wide mouth insulated bottles are hands down the best on the market at keeping your water ice cold. But this lid is awful. We’ve gone through at least a half dozen (too optimistic I guess) and only 1 still has its metal handle. Our most recently purchased lid lost the handle within a week. You can squeeze them back in but then they pop right back out. The metal doesn’t go in far enough, I think? The bigger bottles are heavy when full and awkward to carry without a handle.

I wish I saw this in reviews when I was shopping so YES the straw sizes included will fit a 16 oz water bottle. It seemed like the more common sizes are 12 oz and 24 oz so I wanted to be sure that not just the cap was compatible but that the straw size was compatible as well. I'm super picky about my water bottle mouthpiece and this cap met my criteria. Must be a straw, mouthpiece not exposed, easy to access, and dishwasher safe. I'm so glad to have found my forever water bottle!

My partner and I have tried every TK Wide lid style and this one is by far our favorite. Everything about it just looks and feels nice and well designed. My only complaint is there is no way to twist the cover open or closed with only one hand, but with the one-way valve it is fine to leave it open generally and just twist it closed if you are putting it inside a bag. I also like that is comes in a color other than black.

I love my klean kanteen products and have been a loyal user since 2008. My last few purchases have left much to be desired and a bit of disappointment. I have debated purchasing a new lid for my wide mouth kanteen as I wanted something that was leak proof and easier to clean than the 'cafe' cap. A straw as been super helpful lately in encouraging me to drink more water and this lid seemed like the right choice. I purchased it two days ago and when I went to test it out (filled the kanteen with water and flipped it over) the lid immediately dripped water. It was not a flood of water but enough to make a difference if thrown in a bag for transport. Not something that will be very useful to me and feels like a waste - defeats the purpose of the purchase.
Sadly NOT recommended because it does indeed leak.

I love this lid in theory, unfortunately, it does seem like the design needs some work. My lid has a side clip that fits too loosely which means the top part of the lid comes off super easily unless I’m very careful with how I handle it. The loose clip is not currently available for purchase for kleen Kanteen so there’s nothing I can do but roll the dice on repurchasing the same lid again or go for a different lid design that won’t have all the features I wanted. My son has the same bottle/lid setup and his is better, but that side clip is still not quite as tight and stable as I’d like, doesn’t feel like it will stand up to a ton of use.

I love this lid, but I have bought two different ones and they break frustratingly quickly--there seems to be a problem with the rubber part where the straw connects to the main lid, because it tears after a couple of months. So sad because I love having the straw and I love this brand even more:(

Don't buy this. It leaks and comes broken and then when you try and hope it was just a faulty part you have to jump through hoops to get a replacement but to be sent something completely irrelevant. Waste of money

I hate hate HATE this lid. Any change in pressure and it spews water everywhere. Any movement whatsoever, actually. Water pools at the base of the straw and causes so much gross gunk. This design is incredibly flawed and I’m buying another lid.

I really like your bottle and I was happy that I could purchase a replacement cap when the part that held my straw broke. I received my order promptly which was very nice. The packing job was beautiful and the items also had packaging. I really did not need the straw kit and those straws will likely sit in my kitchen drawer for years. I also think the packaging should be cut to a minimun. I will recyle it but it does seem excessive.

I love this cap in theory. I love that the straw is covered when you twist the cap. However, twisting the cap open and closed makes the lid IMPOSSIBLE to remove at the end of the day. The twisting mechanism tightens the lid more and more as the day goes on.
