About Klean Kanteen
Klean Kanteen traces back to inventor Robert Seals, who prototyped the first reusable stainless steel water bottle in the US with materials from his local hardware store and founded the company in Chico, California in 2004 — offering a safer, more sustainable alternative to single-use plastic, free of aluminum and BPA liners. Today the range spans bottles, tumblers, kid and toddler cups, insulated food jars and all the caps and straws to match, and the company walks its talk: Climate Neutral Certified since 2020, with more than $4.4 million donated to environmental non-profits through 1% for the Planet since 2008.

Lid fits good

I like the lid. It fits good and I can still fill the drink up pretty much all of the way without issues with it spilling after I put lid on.

Nice addition to the pint cup

Straw silicone stays in place and is easy to remove for cleaning. Lid has seats properly and has a good seal. Not exactly spill proof as stated but it helps. Occasionally if the lid isn’t aligned or squared to the cup, it will go into the cup but this is mostly user error, haha. Just be a bit careful and don’t rush to put it on.

Great for Kids

We like to give our kids smoothies, but without a lid could spell disaster. These allow us to use our klean kanteen pint cups for the children too.

Finally!

So excited to see the accessory come out! I’ve been using the original tumbler lid on my ooooold stainless steel vacuum insulated tumbler for about a decade and always just slid a straw in the mouth opening. Then I saw this new upgrade and went for it! Quality silicone gasket. Love that it fits the steel pint cups too!

I replaced a very worn lid with this new one and I had forgotten how they're very spill proof initially. My old one had seen years of all day heavy use so I can say without doubt these are great and durable.
