Wooden Tray Puzzle - Woodland Animals - 2nd Edition

This puzzle is adorable, the colors are great to attract the kids. The pieces are good for small hands to grab. The shapes are a little intricate for very small toddlers. I feel that this puzzle will be used for many years.

It’s beautiful, well made and interesting to look at as a small toddler, then next step is placing the pieces to their corresponding place on the boards all the way to counting the marks on the pieces then matching the sets of marks to the numeral!

Bought for 19 month old who loves puzzles. It's a little easy for her, but she's already done more complicated ones, so I imagine it's great as a first puzzle

I ordered this for my 11 month old so we can start discussing numbers throughout playing! I love that it’s wood and seems the pieces are finished rather than painted. I prefer a finished piece over painted because in previous items with a teething bub, paint starts chipping off. So far my baby has liked the lady bugs (I think that’s what they are) and is just messing with them, but all the numbers are different sizes & colors, so it touches on many mathematical theories in one cute toy! The pieces are large enough for me to allow him to play while I do something close by without worrying about pieces going into his mouth. Great buy and great value.

My child just turned a year old and this is a great first puzzle! The pieces are a nice size so they can be manipulated, but not easily swallowed. The wood is a nice quality and does not have sharp edges. It is a great tool to teach a small child about ocean animals. Only negative is my dogs like it too and have chewed up one of the pieces so I have to make sure the pieces are picked up when they are around.

Ordered the ocean animals one and its lovely and well made. My daughter is only 8 months old and mainly likes to gnaw on the pieces right now, but it still looks good as new. It has an antique almost heirloom quality about it. Buy it - you wont regret it!

My baby girl is a little small for it still but she loves to play with the animals and slowly starts to understand the purpose. the pieces are easy to get a grip on and it is very well made. Wee gallery never disappoints !
